Introductory Information about Wendy

I have lived in Redbourn for 26 years and I have always played an active part in the community. I have served as a trustee for a local conservation charity and I have been on the organising committee for Redbourn Classics Motor Show. I am also a member of the rejuvenated Redbourn WI "Bourn to be WI'ld".

When my son was young, I was involved in Beavers and I also served on the committee of the PTA, at both his primary and secondary schools.

I work as an academic in a university in London and I teach and research in Business and Management. I regularly put theory into practice and in the past I was actively involved in a charity which offered support for entrepreneurs and small businesses.

My hobbies involve travelling and walking and I spend a lot of time walking the footpaths of Redbourn with my dog. In 2019 I combined my love of the outdoors and travelling and trekked to Machu Picchu to raise money for the Redbourn Community (Care) Group.

Redbourn is a wonderful place to live and I hope by serving on the council I can help to protect the special nature of the village for future generations.
