Committees
Redbourn Parish Council conducts most of its business through different committees:
- Management and Communications
- Finance and Policy
- Commons and Green Spaces
- Planning
These committees meet regularly to discuss issues and make decisions and then report back to Full Council on a monthly basis.
Agendas for these meetings are advertised with three clear days notice on the parish notice boards and online in accordance with the Local Government Act 1972 section 12.
Members of the public are welcome to attend any council meetings. If you wish to raise an issue at a meeting, you will have 3 minutes in which to speak. Please notify the clerk in advance if you wish to attend.
- Full Council
Full Council meets on a monthly basis to approve all decisions made by the various committees and to discuss any further council matters.
- Management and Communications
Management and Communications meet to make decisions on the day to day running of the council and the Parish Centre.
- Finance and Policy
The Finance and Policy Committee meets bi-monthly to discuss issues of finance and to consider grant applications.
- Commons and Green Spaces
Commons and Green Spaces are responsible for decision making, management and maintenance of outdoor spaces in the village.
- Planning
The Planning Committee meets to discuss planning applications within the parish boundary and to make recommendations to St Albans District Council based upon local knowledge and planning policy.
